CANDACE HARRISON

Candace Harrison is an American singer/songwriter born in Ocean County, New Jersey. Growing up she was surrounded by an abundance of classical music and was involved in many theater productions. An avid movie buff, Harrison attributes her early musical inspiration to scores by composers such as Shuki Levy, Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner. This expanded to the realm of alternative and electronic music. She went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music and quickly gravitated towards the New York studio world as a session singer. Being drawn to the process of layering harmonies and navigating complex rhythms led her to make vocal session work with artists from around the globe the main focus of her career. Her most treasured creative influences are Bjork, Elizabeth Fraser, Massive Attack, Goldfrapp & Radiohead.
